This year’s 2nd Festival expands beyond the borders of Central Greece and kicks off in Athens on April 30th with an iconic inclusive performance, before continuing on May 22nd and 23rd in Fokida with cultural, athletic, and social activities. The thematic pillars remain the same but are enriched with new actions:

The Spectacle: “TOGETHER in Life, TOGETHER on Stage, a Story from Galaxidi” With the support of Athens Concert Hall (Megaron), this unique music and dance production—created by choreographer-director Athina Dogka— returns with last year’s original cast, all residents of Galaxidi, and features narration by Lena Papaligoura. The performance will be presented at the Alexandra Trianti Hall on April 30 at 8:00 pm.

The school action “Celebrating TOGETHER – Equitable Communities”. This year’s action focuses on sports, featuring a sitting volleyball tournament (a Paralympic sport). In collaboration with the Elementary Education Directorate of Fokida and under the guidance of EAOM-AMEA (Hellenic Sports Federation for Persons with Disabilities), teams from all primary schools in the region are already training, while awareness sessions are also being held in classrooms.. The final tournament bringing together teams from all participating schools, will celebrate every participant and team. May 22nd, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Itea Indoor Gym.

Celebrating TOGETHER “Co-creating with ESTIA”. A wide range of activities for all ages, including art workshops, games, music, and song. This year, our “beer garden” will be coordinated by Ilias Mamalakis, assisted by many volunteers with and without disabilities. May 22nd, 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM, ESTIA Estate, Agios Nikolaos, Galaxidi.

Celebrating TOGETHER “Uniting Our Steps” Co-organized this year with TihioRace, the event features two races of 5 km and 1 km, where everyone is a winner. May 23rd, 6:00 PM, within Galaxidi.

Celebrating TOGETHER, Networking and Teamwork Activities. A variety of initiatives aimed at raising awareness and solidarity. this year’s highlight is “Art Sparks”, an intergenerational art workshop for grandparents and children, presented by the B&E Goulandris Foundation. May 23rd, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM, within Galaxidi.

CLOSING CEREMONY – “United We Celebrate!” Awards, speeches, greetings, treats offered by all local associations, music and dancing until late at night. May 23rd, 8:30 PM, Mamas Square, Galaxidi.
